Joseph's House is able to assist with a variety of needs, such as back rent, utility shut-offs, security deposits, food and laundry vouchers, clothing vouchers, and hygiene items. We also refer clients to other agencies and help advocate when possible. This program is funded entirely through donations and fundraising.

Founded in 1988, families and individuals from Chittenden County and beyond continue to visit JUMP in need of everyday valued resources ranging from transportation, food/groceries, clothing, utilities, laundry, ID’s, prescription co-pay, personal hygiene and cleaning items. These are items many cannot purchased using the 3SquaresVT, Vermont's food stamp card.

We are never alone in our struggles. Through the mutuality of peer support, we can feel connected to our community and empowered to discover inner-capability and strength. As advocates for self-determination who draw from personal experience with mental health challenges, we aim to inspire and support our peers. By peers, we mean those individuals who identify with issues related to mental health and / or addictions and substance use. We strive to model success through our own achievements, resilience and persistence. We offer resources, self-directed education and a welcoming space filled with non-judgmental and open minds
